The hotel was placed in the remote location close to the mountains. And it was also near to the restaurant, the garden, and the Rose valley.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming and had a cozy, vintage feel. I loved the beautiful antique furniture and floral patterns throughout the hotel. The general areas were clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of comfortable seating. It was easy for senior people like me to move around and relax. The children working there were always ready to assist and made sure I felt safe and comfortable.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, I would suggest having handrails in the hallways and staircases. This would provide extra support and stability for those with mobility issues.

We had a fantastic stay at this welcoming hotel in Shipka. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the room was large, comfortable, and quiet with a lovely garden view. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, with great quality and service. The price was very reasonable and the hosts had excellent local knowledge. We enjoyed talking with them and felt right at home. The location was perfect for exploring the Thracian kings' valley and nearby monuments. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Well heated rooms in winter. The carpet was thin and it looked like it should have been replaced. We try to choose hotels with tiles or wooden floors but sometimes this is not possible. In newer or well-maintained hotels, carpets are not usually a problem for us.

We had a rad time exploring the beautiful surroundings and getting our adrenaline pumping with some wicked cycling and hiking activities. The hotel owners, Ivan and Tosha, were so chill and made sure we had an awesome experience. The rooms were comfy and modern, with killer views from the balcony. And let's not forget the mouthwatering food and the cool swimming pool. A total teenage paradise!
If there's one thing we could ask for, it would be more late-night party options for us young and energetic folks. We had a blast during the day, but we were craving some wild nighttime fun to keep the adventure going.

The hosts at this hotel were absolutely lovely and made our New Year's stay truly memorable. They were friendly and engaging, providing us with valuable insights about Bulgaria and its history. The meals at their restaurant were delicious, both the dinner and the breakfast. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel is conveniently located near Shipka Pass, making it a perfect stopover for travelers.
One aspect of our stay was not as pleasant. The carpet in our two-room apartment had a certain odor that was a bit off-putting.
